Ignacio Barra Macaya is a Classical guitarist, arranger and bandleader from Viña Mar.

Ignacio graduated with highest distinction in classical guitar at the Institute of Music of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile). Ignacio has performed concerts on Easter Island, in Ireland, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Bolivia, among others.

He was awarded first place in the 2018 “Miguel Llobet” International Guitar Competition in Barcelona, one of the most prestigious classical guitar competitions in the world.

His albums indluce "I: Chilean Composers", and "Te Amaré".
